Usually I'm a fan of the morbid items Stardoll hosts, but I'm not too impressed of this item. It's still beautiful though. This little couch was created by the artist Von Erickson. Rumour has it that the couches are actually made with real caskets. Unfortunately, I cannot find the link where you can buy this piece in real life. Please let me know when you do!!!

Halloween Goodies
My sincere apologies for being so late to write an article. I've been so busy with homework, generally the school and I rarely log in Stardoll these days. I promise though to try and write more articles in the next months.
To start with, since Halloween is coming I thought I should share some of the things I found so you can achieve the spookiest and creepiest atmosphere.
One idea would be to decorate the inside of your house ( if you have the proper time to get down to it of course) by taking some small twigs putting them into a pumpkin and then draw on a paper some bats and then cut them. You could take some canldes, draw on a paper some Halloween sketches and then glue them on the candles. Like that:
Another idea would be to draw some bats on paper again, cut them in different shapes and sizes and then glue them around your front door. Spooky atmosphere! And since Halloween is in autumn is easy to find some not so alive plants and put them around your porch or generally at the entrance of your house. Like that:
Furthermore I would like to give you something to try out for yourself. Painting your nails like they are covered in blood. I don't know whether I ahve given that out before but every Halloween I do it. It's the perfect idea in my opinion and it's very easy to do. Plus since we don't celebrate Halloween in Greece painting my nails like blood is the least I can do, right?
I'm not done yet. Halloween without spooky food is not Halloween (I just made that up).
So here's the spookiest recipes I found online.
Brain cupcakes.
Monster Toes.
Funny Bones.
Swamp Juice
Cheese Finger Food
Happy Halloween everyone.

Mortal Kiss Zombie
I can't lie, I absolutely love this piece and I got very excited when Stardoll released it. The figurine is a collectible from the hit TV series and comic book, The Walking Dead. You can get this figurine for only $15. {here}!

MSW is approaching.
The worst of the worst is approaching, where you get nothing but a crapload of spam, unwanted attention, and blank friend requests if you won. There is an upside to this though, winning stardollars and SS membership up to a year can't go bad, right? If you want to win that badly, here's a few tips.
- Create suites that is different from everyone else. I mean create stuff out of simple objects. Ruth-Sechmet is often known for her suites like that.
- Create one-of-a-kind medolls. Not the ones you see the elites wearing, but the ones who makes masks out of the Sunny Bunny contacts.
- Don't spam or ask for votes. People get very irritated with that and not to mention, those people are most likely running for MSW also. Instead, visit people's suites, be active in clubs, and save your medoll in your album a whole bunch of times.
- Have an interesting presentation. Tell us a bit about yourself and your personality instead of posting "Hi, I'm Ellie and I like Slipknot, don't repost this and you'll have a ghost visiting your room...."
I hope this helps you in the near future. Good luck. :D

How to customise leather jackets
Leather jackets are essential to a punk style or maybe a gothic style. Either way leather jackets are important an they add a nice touch to an outfit.
Rather than (or as well as) fully painting your jacket you can customise it with detailed designs. If you are artistically gifted, great - let your imagination run wild and set to work creating a wearable work of art. If you are, err... not so much gifted as enthusiastic, there are simpler ways to customise leather jackets than by freehand artistry. For instance:
*Band names and lyrics can be scrawled on the back or all over.
*Graffiti can be copied
*As well as tattoos
To hand paint a stencil, you can simply tape your stencil design into place on the leather jacket and carefully paint into it - it helps if the stencil's on a thick bit of cardboard and if the stencil design itself has clean, defined edges.
Here's a handy alternate method for transferring stencils from paper to jacket:
You don't have any ideas for stencils?
And if you are artistic and you can copy stencils you could use these:
And last but not least SPIKES!
You will all agree that spiked jackets are the best! Well, now you can transform your regular leather jacket into a spiked one!
That's the way:
Hope you find them helpful!

Steampunk Fashion DIY Tips
Well, I thought that writing only about Stardoll is tiring so I thought I could provide you with some tips that you could use in real life and that would help you achieve a Steampunk look.
And if you fancy hats then you can always experiment on them too by adding lace, feathers or ribbons.
Big Victorian hats are astonishing if you have the guts to weat them in public. If you don't then you can also wear mini-hats. The ones that look like little plates or tea cups on yur head.
- Simply adding lace to the edge of a collar is one of the easiest ways to add class to something.
- Changing out the buttons for more interesting ones ( brass buttons for example) is an easy task too.
- For a more distressed look you may experiment with burning fabric (caution though) or rubbing tea or coffee grounds into fabric. That way the fabric will get a gritty, Steampunk feel.
- If you want to have an Emilie-Autumn look you can take any sharp item (anything!) and rip away. Tattered skirts with petticoats can make you look like Emilie Autumn.
- clean old keys and cogs and use them as necklaces.
- shred/burn/rub with coffee or tea scarves. They can be tied in the style of an ascot or around your waist as a belt.
- Little apothecary bottles are perfect. You can put dead moths, feathers, spider webs, little love notes or glitter.

And never leave the house without a corset...

Updates!
I know it's been ages since the last post but I had some problems with my computer and I couldn't open any windows. Anyway, during the time I was gone a lot of things on Stardoll.
First of all we got this new update that gives us the advantage to paint not only our hands' nails but also to decorate and paint our feet's nails too. Pretty ridiculous to even bother post a photo.
Also, long time ago a new shop was released, called "Film Theory". Myself, I am working on a room inspired by this shop. It has lots of things that are in Starcoins.
Also an "Evening Falls" inspired shop opened with some magnificent clothes. Nontheless the pink is sort of disturbing but still most of the pieces are wearable and will look great in dark outfits!
