Gothic (Christmas) Cards

  Dear fellow dark members,
Christmas has arrived, as you've probably noticed, and the Christmas spirit fulfils everything around us. Green, red, white, gold are the colours that exist all around! A fat man dressed in red and white ringing a bell is the main character of the Christmas! So here comes my question: Do these things really express the goth people? You know you can still celebrate Christmas but with your own gothic way.
I found this site with some gothic Christmas ideas and some gothic cards, which I found really creative, extraordinary and unique! If you seem to be a talented person you can copy some of these to give them away to close relatives and friends. Wouldn't that be great!
Here is the site: http://shop.oph3lia.com/cgi-bin/cardshop.cgi/greetingcards10 There like 52 pages full of amazing and hilarious cards you can copy! Not only this site has cards but T-shirts, calendars, clothes and lots of other stuff for all the occasions! Unfortunately I was unable of saving any photos because of the protection of the site! However you MUST visit it! It has cards with quotes, birds, cages, rats, dark shabby queens, skulls and a lot more! I was thrilled when I discovered it and I think you'll be too! I thought I would let you know...

Non-SS to buy in Starbazzar

Is the world coming to an end? Stardoll just made something that was previously exclusive to Superstars available to everyone. (As long as you have over 500 starpoints and confirmed your email address)

It's quite rare we see Stardoll showing some interest in their non-paying members, but perhaps this is a sign of better things to come?

Anyway, you can now buy in Starbazzar if you are a non-Superstar. In the doll mail that they sent to us all, they claimed that they 'listened'. It is not every day that they make a major change like this. Yes, okay, perhaps when we tell them about clothes we want, they might bring out a new range, but this certainly is drastic.

They also changed the time limit on selling clothes;

Yesterday we reduced the limit of items Superstars can sell within a 24 hr period to 10 items. This wasn’t a popular change. So we listened (and agreed) and made a few tweaks…
There is NO LIMIT when you sell items that YOU HAVE DESIGNED (previously known as StarDesign)
For everything else, there will still be a 10 item/24 hr limit. This is to ensure that Stardoll continues to be a fair and safe environment for all our members – that’s ‘always’ our number one priority.

I must say, it amuses me that they put 'always' in quotes like that. It's the kind of thing that's normally only said by angry members.

So, is this one of many changes to come to Stardoll? For me, the best thing they can do now, is stop the make up running out while you're using it...

Movies Related to Christmas

Well as you've noticed Christmas is here! Like it or not! If you're froM the kind of people that they like to spend their Christmas at home holding a cup of hot chocolate and waching good movies then here you are. You know, just to find some peace and quiet! So in order to be satisfied you must have a good movie at hand! I'm presenting you some of my favourite films related to Christmas, hope you find one of them interesting:
  • Casper's Haunted Christmas. It might sound and look like it's some sort of stupid cartoun but it's not, in my opinion at least. The plot is simple: Kibosh, the King of Ghosts, decrees that Casper must scare someone before Christmas Day or he will be banished to The Dark. To make sure this happens, he confiscates the Ghostly Trio's Scare licenses and flings them to Kriss, Massachusetts where they meet the Jollimore Family. When Casper's good behavior starts to act up, the Ghostly Trio call in Casper's look-a-like cousin Spooky to do the job.

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's a classical movie for Christmas. Often promoted as Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, is a 1993 stop motion fantasy film directed by Henry Selick and produced/co-written by Tim Burton. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, a being from "Halloween Town" who opens a portal to "Christmas Town". I adore every work/movie etc Tim Burton has released. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a must in my opinion.
  • I'm going easy on you. Thse are just cartouns. The next movie is more classical and has taken a great popularity since it was written. A Christmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens. The story tells of sour and stingy Ebenezer Scrooge's ideological, ethical, and emotional transformation after the supernatural visitations of Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas'es Past, Present, and Yet to Come. The novella met with instant success and critical acclaim. I've only read the book but it's still one of my favourites!
  • Last but not least, for the horror fans, I present you "Black X-mas", a horror movie. I don't really believe it's in the Christmas spirit but who cares? It's a nice movie. The plot focuses on an escaped maniac who returns to his childhood home on Christmas Eve, which is now a sorority house, and begins to murder the sorority sisters one by one.
I showed you a classic movie, a cartoun movie, a "must" movie and a horror movie to watch on Christmas! Hope you follow my advice and choose one of them to watch...if you haven't already!

   to all of you! (:
