Non ss? No problem #4

We all know that being a non-ss is pretty annoying! That's why I'm going to show you an outfit that is inspired um how could I name it? A depressing musical actress maybe? I made it this morning when I found this for free outfit:
The pink on the left...
Starting your outfit you have to take this outfit for free. Visit: gizlinet.org and type stardoll.com. Log in and then paste this link on the proxy bar www.stardoll.com/en/contest/finish.php?id=1211. The stuff are going to be on a starplaza bag. You wear the pink outfit and you can elaborate and darken your skirt with a balck skirt you have like that:

Now you have to make platforms which are made up of your shoes. It's really helpful if you have a pair of Platform Ankle Boots. You'll find them in Bisou. I used 5-6 pair of shoes to get the wanted height like that:
Last but not least you add your accesories: You add gloves, long if you have, an umbrella which you can find either in Fallen Angel or if you have the free umbrella by Archive. If you want more you can add leggings and the Ruffled Collar in Tingeling. If you have enough money you can buy the Black Veil from the Perfect Day store. An here's your outfit:

To make your outfit look more depressing you have to buy some eyelashes and cover your eye. Also you can either buy the "blue" tears or the "black" ones and put one or two...If you ever been an ss and you happen to have black lipstick add it! If you don't go to face-lips and choose the dark red colour...If you happen to have eyelashes from Sunny Bunny add them too! Finishing you can experiment on making the lips and the eyebrows look like she actually cries...
Good luck!

New LE Collection

Recently, the new LE collection was released. No sooner had it got out that all the items disappeared. And I wonder was it that good? Take a look...The only thing that actually caught my eye was the Spiked Crop Moto Jacket but still...Also the Selvedge Hem Dress was pretty nice...Besides those the other clothes were too bright and brought me a horrible headache with all those neon colours!
Your opinion?

and the jacket everybody is talking about and it's quite nice!

Inspired goth make-up 1

I thought it would be nice to make an ispired make-up. Since I adore dark victorian goth and since we have the priviledge of non-eyebrows I thought I would start with this one:

The make-up:
It's pretty slight but I promise you they're coming more dark ones...

A little notice.

I know you all have heard of the new store, Perfect Day, right? As some of you have noticed, the purple dress looks a tad bit familiar, right? Well, you're right. This beautiful, enchanted dress was inspired by the burlesque queen herself, Dita Von Teese's wedding dress (when she married shock-rocker Marilyn Manson).

Such a long time...

I'm so sorry for not posting anything for so long but I'm getting through an awful situation. I'll try and catch up with the news. First of all we have that new feature the "hand" thing which I find kind of useless since noone can actually see it. If I was ss and I had money to spend this is what I would buy:
In a way it is nice...
Don't you think?

New Sunny Bunny Package

Of course there are so many other updates on Stardoll but I think this package is kind of more interesting that the PPQ Collection (the cape is amazing-look below) and the upcoming Hotbuys. I might post them as soon they are released. Here's what I discovered today:
this "cute" box at my beauty parlor! The idea of every shop having a different package and bag fascinates me but this one was too pink, don't you think?
To make up for the pink thing here's the cape:

A tribute to Punks' Rats

Witches own cats, goths love bats and punks have rats. 'Tis the law. Now let us learn about all things ratty. Didja know the first fancy rats were Victorian?

All the cool punk girls I admire seem to have a pet rat peeking up from under the thick oversized sweaters they all wore (Norway is cold). Punks are awesome, so to me rats are also awesome by association.
Why are rats a favoured pet by those with a punk lifestyle? Why don't you often see punks walking down the street with a tortoise or budgerigar? After all, you could paint slogans on the tortoise's shell and dye your mohawk to match the plumage of the budgie.
I think the answer might lie in punks and rats being somewhat kindred spirits.
The first fancy rats were Victorian. Rats were bred and made to fight for blood sport. Some of the more exotically coloured rats were sold as novel pets instead of being killed in the ring. For some reason, having rats as pets went out of fashion in the 1920's (which is odd, because - when it comes to style and novelty - it's not often the Jazz Age misses a trick). Punk does not have Victorian origins, however much one might love to dream otherwise. Steampunk is, unfortunately, just fiction. Nevertheless, the pet rat was revived in the mid seventies, roughly at the same time as the punk subculture was gaining momentum.
Domestic rats descend from the wild brown rat. Although there are some differences, they are still considered the same species: Rattus Norvegicus. This is also happens to be the name of a quite popular album by The Stranglers.

Punk pet ratsRattus Norvegicus - the wild rat - is, like most punks, primarily a city dweller. Thrifty beings with a strong DIY approach and little respect for personal property, both punks and rats often make their nests by occupying buildings rather than renting or buy them. They can also be a bit destructive and thus are generally viewed as pests by the greater society.
.
The long and short of the connection between punks and rats may be that outcasts come together. Both live in a world hostile to them and their way of life, yet they survive. There will never be a rat-free city, and punk is not dead, no matter what they say.

Last but not least, if you consider getting rat or punk friends take care to remember:
They are living beings, not toys nor accessories to make you look cool. They may be tough for their size, but they are still fragile and need lots of love and care to thrive. The better you treat them and the more time you spend with them, the better your life together will be. Getting a friend means you have some responsibility for their wellbeing. Make sure to educate yourself on who they are and what

they need. And don't forget to find a vet who is competent to treat them.
