Rockstars turned to Fallen Angels

Sad news for Heavy-Metal fans out there: We lost 3 very important figures in the music world this year, and I'm not talking about Michael Jackson shit.

  • First off, Peter Steele. Peter Steele, born in 1962, was the lead singer for the band, Type O Negative. Peter has influenced fans and shared his life throughout his music career. Peter has been featured in the Jerry Springer Show and Playgirl Magazine in 1994. Although he has suffered through drug-abuse, he has improved health and sobreity until his death in April 14. He died from heart failure. Peter, I hope there's a "Halloween in Heaven".

AND Ronnie James Dio. Dio, born in 1942, was the lead singer for Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio. Dio was a rock legend from the start. He was awarded as one of the most powerful vocalists in heavy-metal history. He and also popularized the "Devil Horns" gesture that is often used in the metal culture. Dio was diagnosed with stomache cancer in late 2009. He passed away May 16. Ronnie, there is a "Heaven and Hell" (sorry for the cheesy puns, I couldn't help myself)

UPDATE!!! Recently, Paul Gray, born in 1972. He was recognize as the bassist for the rock group, Slipknot. He was found dead in his hotel room by a hotel employee. I honestly feel bad for the guy. His wife is pregnant with his first child, and his first child won't even get to meet his dad. Stay (SIC) in Heaven \m/

May these heroes *Rust In Peace.

*Megadeth pun
