Girls Gone Goth

Dear dark fellow members ( it gets stupider and stupider as the days go by!),
Well if you had read the previous post I made about creepy girls you'd know that I'm going to make a "serie" about gothic cartoons and this article's theme is Cartoons (girls) who have gone goth obviously...A reminder: I found all these on a this blog which I extremely adore because the owner has done a really exhaustive search on cartoons! Here we go:
Alex in "Creepy Crawly Much?"(Totally Spies) In this episode, Alex was a bit down because her bestfriends, Sam and Clover, have their own boyfriends, while she's always ending up with weird guys, until she bumped into this somber goth guy. Sam and Clover found it too much when Alex's goth boyfriend painted her room black, and Alex kept on speaking in bad goth poetry. Alex dropped the goth scene when their villain, who's a half-insect king, choose her to be his queen because she likes darkness like cockroaches do. Apart the last thing I believe that it was an amazing episode. If the guy was real I would fall for him too!

Candace in "Flop Starz" (Phineas and Ferb). This only happened for a second because Candace was trying out different outfits before going to a concert. Her best friend, Stacey, only commented on this, "Too goth." In the end, Candace wore her signature outfit anyway. There's also a girl rock band called The Bettys (Get ready for the Bettys). During that episode, Candace was wearing a spiked collar. There's also another episode where Candace and the goth girl Vanessa had their clothes switched in the dry cleaners (Hail Doofenia!). Candace didn't want to get out of the car so no one could see her in goth clothing (and it didn't fit right coz she's so thin). But somebody did and texted it to everybody, yet Jeremy likes it. Well I adore Phineas and Ferb but this goth outfit of Candace is truely impressive. Yet there is Doofenshiartz daughter who is goth and at the episode "Searching for Mary McGuffy" we see her room which is purple and black.

Lisa Simpson in "Smart and Smarter" (The Simpsons) When Lisa found out that her baby sister, Maggie, had a higher IQ than her, she suffered in identity crisis. She tried out different social images like cowgirl, soccer girl, cheerleader, rapper, stand-up comedian, etc. Goth was her second choice. Her name was Ravencrone Neversmiles. But Milhouse ruined it when he asked her to make out in the cemetery. He also thought that Lisa was an Oakland Raiders fan! "It's called goth, eternally clueless one," replied Lisa.
Juniper Lee in "Citizen June" (The Life and Times of Juniper Lee) I haven't watch the whole episode, but just saw the music video on YouTube. In the episode, June is running for president and had a band with her siblings. In their second time on stage, they changed their looks into like that of KISS and totally rocked hardcore. However I find this cartoon extremely dull...No offense but this was just the best episode and I think the last one!
Malina in "Girls Behaving Oddly" (The Emperor's New School) In this episode, Malina was kicked out of the cheerleading squad because of an A minus. She then made friends with Moxie, the typical wild-haired, tough, bad it-girl, but not really goth goth. They do wear skull earrings and black jackets, and Malina changed her name to just "Mali." She was dared to do bad thing but failed because of Kuzco and Kronk. In the end, Malina's grade was a mistake, and so, she's back to being an A student.

The Powepunk Girls in a comic strip of the Powerpuff Girls. The creators were about to add them to the cartoon series but failed due to the creating effects of the movie. The Powerpunk Girls are actually the Powerpuff versions in an anti-universe. They're Berserk (a mean Blossom), Brat (a never-crying Bubbles) and Brute (not so different from Buttercup). There's also Oppressor Plutonium. They're not really goths, but I just want to share because  few people know they exist, and might think it's fan art, but it's not.

Betty and Veronica in She's Goth to Have It (Archie Comics) Of all the thousands of comic strips, this is the only one where the casts had gone goth together. At first, Betty was feeling ignored by her friends and met two goth girls in a new coffee shop. She had gone goth to get attention from her friends but she realized she was just ignoring them. In the end, Veronica, Archie and Reggie had gone goth, too, to join her.
Well these are all for the girls gone goth! The next post is going to be In Memory Of some old gothic cartoons that they're not on the Tv anymore! Stay tuned and I'll be in touch again!

Creepy Little Girls

Well I deciced, since I adore comics and cartoons, to post some gothic cartoons and comics! Of course, this will take a few articles because I don't want you to get bored and because there are lots of gothic comics(there's something I didn't even expected)...The first thing I'm going to write about is apparently little, goth, creepy girls. I found out about them on this. Here we go:
Mandy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Mandy, along with Billy, owns the Grim Reaper after winning in a limbo game. He serves them as their best friend forever. She's truly cold and tough, very cynical and hostile. She never smiles. She wants to rule the world and practically hates everything. She has a fear of figure skaters, distrusting the way they spin. Her "best friend" is Billy, though she treats him like a monkey. She seems to care when he's in trouble but it's only for a her own benefit like Billy owes her ten bucks. Also, aside from Billy's idiotic yet kind-hearted personality, he's a psychopath.
Creepella "Creepie" Creecher from Growing Up Creepie. Obviously, you know she's creepy. She's raised by creepy crawlies. She was abandoned as a baby in Dweezwold Mansion, where a lot of insects live in. Her father is a vegan vampire-like mosquito and her mother is a MorticiaAddams-like praying mantis. Creepie, of course, can talk to them but she keeps her life a secret because Middlington is a town of insectophobic people, except for her best friend Budge who knows her secret. Her love interest is Tarantula Boy, a.k.a. Skipper, who's actually half tarantula from the carnival. Creepie is really goth with her cynical, sarcastic and mysterious nature, and her favorite word is "Wicked". Whenever she recites a poem, creepy stuffs happen. And her photography brings out the beauty of the dark. Here's the theme song.
Gaz from Invader Zi. Gaz is "Dib's scary sister". She has a penchant for video games and a fixation with pizza and piggies. When someone stand in the way of her getting those things, she won't hesitate to thrust them into "a nightmare world from which there is no awakening." She seems to possess spooky supernatural powers. She knows that Zim is an alien, but doesn't care because she thinks he's too stupid to take over the world. Although she is possibly the smartest character on the show, Gaz, like the others, has shown some obvious signs of insanity. She's really cute when her eyes open wide. Her outfit is similar to Pepito, the son of Satan, from Jhonen Vasquez's "Squee!".
Ruby Gloom from Ruby Gloom. Like Emily the Strange and Pucca, she's from an apparel franchise and made into an animated series. Ruby is indeed what we call "Perky Goth". She is a girl who can find happiness in anything. "Look on the bright side" is a phrase she chants like a mantra, and it serves her well. There isn't a single thing in the world that gets her down or a single negative that she can't turn into a positive. Her positive attitude has been shown to be helpful, as it allows Ruby to act as the voice of reason in the mansion, while her friends tends to lose focus on real issues. Ruby also has a crush on Skull Boy, who is one of her friends. Her upbeat outlook also makes Ruby very loyal to her friends and there's nothing she wouldn't do for any of them. She likes to have quiet time to write in her diary and sew with Doom Kitty.
Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family Now this is a family of creepy and grim relatives. There were two animated series, 1973 and 1992. The picture is from the 1973. In 1992, Wednesday is wearing a dark blue dress. Unlike in the films, where she was portrayed by Christina Ricci, the cartoon Wendesday Addams is much sweeter, but still she loves death and the macabre, and enjoys torturing her brother Pugsley in a friendly atmosphere. She has pet spiders and her doll is named Marie Antoinette whose head is already guillotined. Her name is based on the nursery rhyme "Wednesday's child is full of woe." Of course if you had read my previous posts you've know her!
Ellen from Edgar & Ellen. The books and the cartoon series are about two twins who cause mischief and mayhem in their sickly sweet town, Nod's Limbs. They live in a 13-story mansion, near the junkyard or the "Gadget Graveyard." They have no parents, although, they have a creepy-smiling groundskeeper named Heimertz. The twins are named after Edgar Allan Poe, with Pet being Poe (it's a hairball creature with one eye). Ellen is older by 2 minutes and 13 seconds. She's the mad scientist who concocts potions from her living plants, while Edgar specializes in gadgets and stunts. They are both clever and creative in carrying out pranks, but they usually quarrel and their pranks backfire.

Maggot from Zombie Hotel I haven't seen an episode of this Disney show, but by the pictures of them from the Internet, it's really nice. Like Edgar and Ellen, the protagonists are the twins Maggot and Fungus who lives in a creepy mansion. But their zombie family turned this mansion into a hotel. Yet they have to hide their secret from the townspeople while they attend school with their best friend Sam, who knows their secret and whom Maggot has a crush on. The character designs of the show are pretty neat and wished I could watch it on TV. Here's the theme song.

Emily The Strange. It's obviously the most well-known cartoon. It's all about a girl, Emily, who is absolutely goth living with her 4 cats, Sabbath, Mystery, Miles, and Nee Chee. She first appeared on a sticker distributed at concerts, record stores and skate shops to promote Cosmic Debris, the clothing line founded by artist and skateboarder Rob Reger, racecar driver Matt Reed and Nathan Carrico, who designed Emily in 1991 for Santa Cruz Skateboards in Santa Cruz, California.
Well I actually copied most of these from the blog I've put above...It's really interesting and you should visit it! Wait for the next article!

Just something for fun

Dear dark fellow members,
I was checking some older posts at Anarchy on Stardoll, which I find really interesting and I think that you should visit, and I found this image:
No photoshop, nothing! It's original...Of course it's really old as you can see. It's before Stardoll's "makeover". Although I think it's collectible...more than the "dolls".

The Addam's Family

Dear fellow dark members,
I have to apologise for my delayed wishes for the new year. Happy New Year to all of you, have fun and may the 2011 be the best year!
Well at the previous post ( if you had read it) at the 1st outfit there were "Wednesday's shoes" from Fallen Angel. Wednesday is a character from the movie the Addams Family. This is the Addams Family:
this is just the picture of the movie which was released in 1991.
The creator of the cartoon Addams Family is Charles Addams. The cartoon might look like this:
The Addam's Family includes:
Morticia Addams was the matriach of the Addams Family, a slim woman with pale skin, clad in a skin-tight black hobble gown with octopus-like tendrils at the hem. Certain sources suggested she may be some kind of vampire. She adored her husband, Gomez, as deeply he did her.
Gomez Addams was the master of the Addams household, married to Moricia, brother of Fester and father of Wednesday, Pugsley and Pubert. Gomez is of Castilian origin, love to smoke cigars and play destructively with his model trains. In the cartoon appears to be fat, short and snub-nosed. However in the movie The Addams Family Values appears to be an attractive italian and charming and lovely husband.
Wednesday and Pugsley are Morticia and Gomez's children. Wednesday seems to be a goth, depressed and sarcastic young girl full of woe! ( That's why I adore her...) Pugsley is her older brother, according to the movie in 1991, who is kind of fat and muscular. The movies gave Wednesday a more mature and serious personality with a deadpan wit and a morbid fascination with trying to physically harm, or possibly murder, her brother Pugsley. He never died though. Like most of the family members appears to be inhumanly resilient! Afterwards Wednesday and Pugsley turn their attention to Pugsley, the baby.
Pugsley is the third child of the family that Wednesday and Pugsley are trying to kill but the baby seem to escape death constantly.

Uncle Fester is a bald, barrel-shaped man with dark sunken eyes and a devilish grin. He suppose to be Gomez's brother. At the movie The Addams Family Values the movie focuses on his relationship with Deppie Jellinsky.
Grandmama. Grandmama is Morticia's mother and she's a witch who deals with potions, spells, hexes and even fortune-telling. Firstly she was Gomez's mother but then became Morticia's mother at the movies which were revealed after the end of the cartoon.
Last but not least Thing T. Thing is a disembodied hand wandering around the house. It seems to be a friend of Gomez since his childhood.

Well this is the Addams Family. I find them extremely amazing and goth! They are my favorite cartoon and movie. And the video is extremely funny...I adore the strange noises. Also I love the sarcastic quotes they say from time to time in the movie. Check them if you're interested! That's all for the Addams Family.
