When most people think of Punk, the first thing that pops up is either Avril Lavigne or Greenday. What most people don't know is the Punk is a culture that arrived in 1975 as a rebellious musical movement. As much as Greenday and Blink 182 is on the radio, Punk is actually suppose to be a sort of a Anti-Corporate/Anti-Conformist attitude. Unfortunately, that isn't around anymore and all we have is little 11 year-olds wearing eyeliner and pink skulls while they claim Tokio Hotel is the "shit".

At least they made the promise of never going mainstream.
See the difference? Now after reading this, I hope you don't claim to be punk unless you actually know the history. Punk is dead.... very dead.
